Jim Harris: Reynolds Refuses To Lose, Needs Other Razorbacks To Join Him
Baseball fans in central Arkansas weren't simply treated to the once-a-year Arkansas Razorback appearance Tuesday night. What they saw was a microcosm of the Hogs' season of recent weeks, all rolled into 10 innings. This one, the Razorbacks won 6-5. Reynolds got the green light from Coach Dave Van Horn to steal third if the opportunity presented itself, which it did. On the second pitch from Louisiana Tech's seventh reliever, right fielder Sam Alvis, Reynolds swiped third base and Tech catcher Kyle Arnsberg bounced an ill-advised throw past the third baseman into right field. Reynolds scored easily for a 6-5 Arkansas victory at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock. read more >
