Springdale Har-Ber's Brey Cook, rated the top offensive lineman among Arkansas high school seniors, plans to be a Razorback.

Brey Cook of Springdale Har-Ber revealed his college destination in front of 50 people and a trio Northwest Arkansas television station cameras on Tuesday evening, telling the crowd that he had always dreamed of "running through the 'A'" of Arkansas.

He plans to sign a national letter of intent with the Razorbacks the first Wednesday in February, and if Arkansas' other commitments hold true, Cook will be joined by Springdale's Mitch Smothers and Bentonville's Marcus Danenhauer.

That trio of upfront beef make up the three best offensive linemen in Arkansas and three of the best the state has produced in years.

Oral commitments are non-binding.

Cook chose Arkansas over Oklahoma and a host of other major college offers, including defending national champion Alabama. In the end, it came down to the Hogs and the Sooners, with the choice being a difficult one for the 6-foot-7, 315-pounder until a week ago, he said Tuesday.
