Arkansas placed four players on the all-SEC Coaches teams announced Tuesday during a live chat on secsports.com.
Below are the Razorbacks players that made the list:
FIRST TEAM
Offense
QB Ryan Mallett, Jr.
TE D.J. Williams, Sr.
SECOND TEAM
Offense
OL DeMarcus Love, Sr.
Defense
LB Jerry Franklin, Jr.
It's a little surprising only four players were named from Arkansas. Probably the only glaring omission was wide receiver Greg Childs, but with all the attention the Razorbacks have garnered in the media, that seems like a low total for the all-SEC team.
Later this week the all-SEC media team will be announced. We’ll be on hand as it’s unveiled in Hoover, Ala. at SEC Media Days.
