The 2010 Southeastern Conference Media Days was a lively setting for debate on national champions, Heisman Trophy candidates and what's inside your grandma's lipstick.

Here's a sampling of ArkansasSports360.com's coverage, brought to you by Northwest Arkansas Editor Chris Bahn and contributing writer Max Farrell:

Ranking the SEC Coaches' Appearances Top to Bottom – From Ole Miss' Houston Nutt making his 13th appearance at SEC Media Days to Vanderbilt's Robbie Caldwell introducing himself after a week on the job, each of the league's coaches certainly has his own style.

No Doubt Hogs QB Ryan Mallett A Star – Ryan Mallett got the star treatment this year in a large vacuum left open by former Florida QB Tim Tebow. Mallett handled it with typical grace under pressure, as evident in this video of him taking on the media.

The only other participant of Media Days who got the "Beatles leaving the train station" treatment was homestate hero, Crimson Tide Coach Nick Saban.

Hogs Don't Back Down from High Expectations – Arkansas Coach Bobby Petrino, quarterback Ryan Mallett, tight end D.J. Williams and defensive end Jake Bequette all stood by the idea in Hoover, Ala., Thursday that they plan to compete for the SEC title this season.
