No longer a member of the limbo caste of Division I-AA, the Football Championship Subdivision, Clint Conque and the UCA Bears are ready to compete in the Southland Conference without any "transitional" growing pains. The Bears have successfully made the move from D-II to the upper classification and will look to advance to the FCS postseason for the first time.

The Bears have piqued the interest of many this summer with items ranging from the quarterback competition between two former Razorback players, Nathan Dick and Jim Youngblood, to Clint Conque's recent cryptic confession of having "an inappropriate relationship in the past."
