The September 2010 issue of Playboy features its Pigskin Preview with Arkansas ranked at No. 24.

Here at ArkansasSports360.com we pride ourselves on providing readers with the most up-to-date and relevant information available on their teams. Sometimes, doing so is more difficult than our readers could ever understand.

And with that bit of whining out of the way we now provide you what Playboy’s Pigskin Preview has to say about the Arkansas Razorbacks...

Playboy — it has lots of pictures, but every guy we know seems to read it for the “great articles” — has Arkansas ranked No. 24 in its 2010 Pigskin Preview:

24. ARKANSAS
LAST YEAR: 8-5, 3-5 in conference. Arkansas beat East Carolina (20-17) in overtime in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
COACH: Bobby Petrino (54-21 career coaching record)
IMPACT PLAYERS LOST: Running back Michael Smith, offensive guard Mitch Petrus, defensive tackle Malcolm Sheppard, defensive end Adrian Davis.
STUDS: Quarterback Ryan Mallett is figuratively and literally a big man on campus in Fayetteville. The six-foot-seven, 248-pound junior set or broke 16 Razorback school records last season, including pass completions in a season (225) and touchdowns (30). He has outstanding receivers in Joe Adams and tight end D.J. Williams.
OUTLOOK: The Razorbacks return nine starters from an offense that led the SEC in scoring and passing offense in 2009. Petrino needs to find some blue chippers on defense if Arkansas is to improve its record against tough conference opponents.
SCHEDULE: Back to back games (at Georgia and home against Alabama) in late September will determine if the Razorbacks can climb into the Top 25.
PREDICTION: 8-4

And if you're wondering... quarterback Ryan Mallett was not named to the Playboy All-American team. Arkansas’ last Playboy All-American was tailback Darren McFadden, who was named to the list in 2007 prior to his junior season.
