University of Arkansas senior cornerback Seth Armbrust will miss the remainder of the 2010 season after suffering a left knee injury in Arkansas’ season-opening 44-3 victory over Tennessee Tech this past Saturday.

“Seth is one of the hardest-working players on our team,” said UA head coach Bobby Petrino. “He started his career here as a walk-on and earned a scholarship by the way he approaches every day. It is unfortunate to see him injured; however, I’m certain he will take a similar approach to his recovery.”

Armbrust has seen action in 14 career games for the Razorbacks, mostly appearing on special teams. In 2009, he led the team with two blocked punts on the year. The first came when he blocked a punt, then scooped and scored against Eastern Michigan on Homecoming. The second came late in the third quarter of a 20-17 overtime victory against East Carolina in the 2010 AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
