Fan perspective – with perspective — can be a difficult thing to find. Lucky for you (and us) there are some quality fan-driven Razorback blogs/websites that manage to provide unique insight and entertainment.

This week’s roundup…

Arkansas Expats
Want to relive the curious mix of elation and dread you felt the last time Arkansas and Louisiana-Monroe met? Check out the Arkansas Expats “A Trip Down (Bad) Memory Lane”, which rounds up stories and fan reaction from the 2008 meeting which ended with Arkansas barely winning, 28-24.

Check out the official recap and box score. You may feel like sending a belated thank you note to the likes of Michael Smith and Casey Dick.

There’s also a recap of last week’s 44-3 victory against Tennessee Tech as a podcast.

RazorBloggers
Expect Arkansas to have an easy time this week with Louisiana-Monroe. The RazorBloggers explain why, and figure the Razorbacks will put plenty of points on the War Memorial Stadium scoreboard:

They won’t say it, but this is a rebuilding year for the Warhawks.  Over half (23) of the players on the ULM two-deep are freshmen or sophomores, with just 13 seniors on the entire roster.  While Monroe is a FBS upgrade over Tennessee Tech, they are picked to finish in the bottom half of the Sun Belt.  So expect the score to be whatever Coach Petrino wants it to be.

We’re a few days removed from the Tennessee Tech game, but Razorbloggers’ “The Good, The Bad And The Ugly” is always a great read. Among topics they, uh, tackle this week is the in-stadium pizza offering:

“Ugly” from game day: If you follow us on Twitter (and you do, right?), then you got the breaking news that Papa John’s pizza has been replaced in DWRRS by Pizza Hut pizza.  Uh…yeah…the aluminum pie pan and plastic cover (instead of a box) made the Pizza Hut pizza nice and soggy.  Downgrade.

Woopig
Each week a character names Rasinsnacks puts together a thread previewing the week’s opponent in a way that even our 'Everything You Need To Know About' opponent blog can't. Before visiting, you need to know a few things:

1. You’ll be offended at some point while reading it.
B. You probably shouldn’t read it at work

Mostly, though, you’ll laugh. And then you’ll probably feel guilty for laughing.

Good luck.

Hog Database
Looking for a highlight package from the Tennessee Tech game? Hog Database has you covered.

Also, the site has a roundup of games you care about from Week One. And there's nary a mention of Boise State-Virginia Tech.

Ole Miss- Have you ever laughed harder in your life? One of those moments where in years to come people will ask “Where were you when the true Nutt showed himself in Oxford?”
