Tents began springing up outside Gate 17 of Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Monday. Students eager to get first-come, first-served seating to No. 1 Alabama and No. 10 Arkansas didn’t want to wait until Saturday to get in line.

By 11 p.m. Thursday, more than 120 temporary dwellings populated Stadium Drive and Tent City stretched nearly a half mile down to Pomfret Hall.

Thanks to @RazorbackCamper — a twitter account that appears to have been set up solely for updates from Tent City — we know that Arkansas football players rewarded the fans for their dedication by delivering pizzas. The University of Arkansas confirmed that the players were quarterback Ryan Mallett, tight ends Ben Cleveland and D.J. Williams and guard Grant Cook.

A few hours later, basketball Coach John Pelphrey delivered pizzas.

Unless you’re planning to grab some Red Bull, a case of beer and a tent, I’d recommend following @RazorbackCamper to get a feel for the buzz on campus. Most updates include photos.

My personal favorite update? Somewhere in the timeline is a photo of a teepee. Somebody is sleeping in a teepee.

Good times.

Here's video from one of the students (h/t to woopig.net for drawing our attention to the video):
