League coaches picked Arkansas to finish No. 2 in the SEC West behind LSU.
LSU earned 63 of 66 possible points as the projected league winner, while the Razorbacks got 49. Top-ranked Florida (66) and Vanderbilt (55) were the top two teams in the SEC East. Defending NCAA champion South Carolina is No. 3 in the East.

Arkansas opens the season Friday at 3:05 p.m. against Delaware State. D.J. Baxendale will start. The Razorbacks were 18-12 in the league last year and finished second.
