HS Basketball: Late '3' From Ross Lifts Parkview to Boys 6A Title

Aaron Ross banked in a 3-pointer to give Little Rock Parkview the lead and the Patriots held on for a 50-44 victory over the Jacksonville Red Devils in the Arkansas Boys Class 6A championship game.

Ross led the Patriots (26-5) to their 11th state title on Saturday, finishing with 13 points and six rebounds.

His 3-pointer gave the Patriots a 36-35 lead going into the final quarter.

Raheem Appleby led the Red Devils with 19 points.

It was Parkview's first state title since 2006.

Jacksonville won the title in 2009.
