Television broadcast of the Arkansas State-UCA game will truly be statewide.

Fayetteville-based KNWA will broadcast the Sept. 24 game between in-state schools. KNWA, the area NBC affiliate, joins Little Rock’s KATV and Jonesboro’s KAIT as broadcast affiliates for the game.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Here’s more from Arkansas State and KNWA:

“We are delighted that KNWA has picked up this game and will provide this opportunity to expose Red Wolves Football to our fans and supporters in Northwest Arkansas,” said ASU Director of Athletics Dr. Dean Lee. “We anticipate a tremendous crowd and know the environment at ASU Stadium will be outstanding.”

"KNWA is proud to be airing the Arkansas State-University of Central Arkansas game on Sept. 24.,” said Lisa Kelsey, Director of Sales at KNWA. “KNWA anticipates an exciting game between these two in-state universities, and we look forward to sharing this excitement with our viewers in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley."

ASU opens the season Sept. 3 at Illinois. That game is scheduled for broadcast on the Big 10 Network.
