Women's Golf

8/2/2011 at 9:09am

Women's golf is already big in Northwest Arkansas with an LPGA Tournament about to mark its fourth year at Rogers next month. Stacy Lewis, a former Razorback, is a formidable opponent on the tour, taking the Kraft Nabisco Tournament in April.

And next April, the University of Arkansas will play host to the SEC Women's Golf Tournament for the first time since 2005. The Blessings in Fayetteville will be the course used April 20-22.

Who knows? Perhaps some of the players at The Blessings will be seen up the road at Pinnacle Country Club in 2013.
