ROGERS — Two golfers have played their way into the Walmart Northwest Arkansas Championship in Rogers.

Taylore Karle and Jean Bartholemew each shot 73 in Monday's qualifying round and will be in the field when the championship gets under way on Friday.

Practice is scheduled Tuesday at Pinnacle Country Club, with pro-am rounds set for Wednesday and Thursday. The tournament itself runs Friday through Sunday.

Seven golfers with Arkansas ties were in the 19-woman field in Monday's qualifying round, but none made the cut.

The closest was former Arkansas golfer Amanda McCurdy, who missed by one stroke, shooting a 74.
