The conclusion of the fall men’s golf season brought the latest release of the Golf World/Nike Golf Coaches Poll and the latest edition has the Razorbacks ranked No. 3 in the nation.
Receiving one first-place vote, Arkansas received 476 points in the poll which will be in the November 28 issue of Golf World Magazine. The University of Texas is ranked No. 1 with 19 first-place votes and 533 points followed by Oregon with one first-place vote and 493 points. The remainder of the top 10 includes Auburn, UCLA, Stanford, North Florida, Washington, Alabama and Georgia Tech.
The Razorbacks are a unanimous top 10 team this year and are ranked No. 6 in the Golfstat rankings released on Nov. 16 and No. 6 in the Golfweek rankings released on Nov. 27.
The Razorbacks are off for the winter and return to competition on Feb. 10 when they travel to the Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla.
