Cobi Hamilton is already ranked the No. 1 wide receivers prospect for 2013 by one NFL Draft-oriented site.

Cobi Hamilton figures to become a more utilized target for quarterback Tyler Wilson this season. He’ll be the most experienced returning receiver with Joe Adams, Greg Childs and Jarius Wright gone after spending four seasons with the Razorbacks.

Hamilton, who caught 34 passes for 542 yards as a junior, will likely see increased attention from defenses. He ranked third on the team this year in catches and yards and his four touchdowns were second on the team behind Wright (12).

And that's not where the increased profile stops.

Expect the NFL to be keeping an eye on the 6-foot-3, 209-pound Hamilton as well.

Currently, CBS/NFLDraftScout.com ranks Hamilton as the No. 1 wide receiver prospect for the 2013 NFL Draft. That puts him ahead of 11 other SEC players in the Top 35 wide receiver prospects listed.

Seem high? Consider the high praise Coach Bobby Petrino had for Hamilton prior to the 2011 season. Petrino said the junior had a blend of skills that took the best from Adams, Wright and Childs.

“Cobi is kind of the big play guy, kind of a combination of all of them,” Petrino said. “He has had some really big games for us … He has got great hands. He’s big and he can run good routes.”

Hamilton enters his final season at Arkansas with 85 catches for 1,519 yards and 13 scores.
