Razorbacks' Adams Shines In Senior Bowl, Named South MVP

Arkansas State's Demario Davis defends Arkansas' Joe Adams in the Senior Bowl on Saturday. Adams finished with eight catches for 133 yards, while Davis ended the day with four tackles.
Joe Adams finished the Senior Bowl much better than he began it.
Adams fumbled on the South's opening drive, but was spectacular from there, finishing with 133 yards on eight catches. He had no touchdowns, but led all players in the all-star game with total receptions, yards and an average of 16.6 yards per catch in being named the South most valuable player.
Despite the effort from Adams, which also included a tackle on special teams, the North won 23-13.
Arkansas State linebacker Demario Davis recorded four tackles. Davis was a late addition to the game and played for the North squad.
Also appearing in the game was Arkansas’ Jake Bequette. He did not record a tackle after switching from defensive end to linebacker.

P.S. Pay close attention to the screen shot accompanying this post. It's the Red Wolves' Davis defending Arkansas' Adams. As several folks have noted on Twitter: those two helmets opposite each other on the same field aren't something you see often.
I'd ask for thoughts, but no need to get THAT topic stirred up again. Surely we can all agree it's just nice to see a couple guys with ties to the state performing on a national stage.
