Red Wolves' Gunn Moving To Defensive Side Of Ball, Malzahn Finalizes Staff Duties

Adding “assistant head coach” to his resume isn’t the only change coming for David Gunn at Arkansas State.

Gunn, a veteran Red Wolves’ assistant, is moving to the defensive side of the ball on Gus Malzahn’s first staff. Gunn, who will now oversee defensive backs, has been coaching running backs and as ArkansasSports360.com reported on Jan. 25 he will also be listed as assistant head coach.

Staff members have been in place for Arkansas State for at least two weeks, but now job duties are finalized. ASU released those on Tuesday evening.
