Sports Poll

Just how closely do you follow college football recruiting?
  • VERY - I know all the rankings, 440 times and GPAs of the Top 25.
  • CLOSELY - I pay attention to the 5-star players and who the Arkansas schools are looking at.
  • SOMEWHAT - I read a few stories around National Signing Day.
  • NOT AT ALL - Recruiting? Did the Army change its slogan again?

Bahn: For Good Measure Of Where Razorback Baseball Stands Nationally, Look At Right Field Fence

Scan the various preseason baseball rankings and you'll see Arkansas ranked among the nation's Top 10 teams. What does this have to do with the Razorbacks' standing nationally? How is this a better measure of progress than rankings? read more >

Jim Harris: Some Bests and Worsts of Arkansas Sports in 2011

The state of Arkansas saw a year of wonderment, brilliance, the high of victory and the low of unspeakable tragedy in the sports year that was 2011. College football success may have reached an all-time high among the larger Arkansas universities, and even college basketball picked itself off the mat in some locales. Here are some feats that stand out as best or worst. read more >
