Former Oklahoma State guard Fred Gulley is hoping to join the Arkansas basketball team. Gulley, a Fayetteville native, told the Associated Press he is waiting to be cleared by the NCAA, but is currently enrolled as a student at Arkansas. He transferred from OSU at midterm. read more >

Cliff Lee left about $20 million on the table when he chose to sign with the Philadelphia Phillies rather than the New York Yankees or Texas Rangers. He said he went with the best chance to win a title rather than the best payday. National media are quick to point out the millions left on the table by Lee don't automatically qualify him for sainthood.
