Distractions have been plentiful for Arkansas football players the last two weeks. Each day seemed to bring a new bit of news or rumor in the leadup to and aftermath of Bobby Petrino's firing. Still, players have maintained their focus in practice. Spring break meant time away from school and football practice for Arkansas players. They didn't necessarily take the entire week off from football, however. Many said they found time to work out, study their playbooks, run routes or some combination of the three. Even the Razorbacks who found their way to Panama City, Fla., didn't turn their attention away from football. read more >

'Break' Over For Brandon Mitchell As Razorbacks Begin Spring Football
Pulling double duty left quarterback Brandon Mitchell pressed for time during basketball season. Mitchell juggled responsibilities in both sports and course work as well as he could. Mitchell didn't participate, but made it a point to show up and support his football teammates when possible during early morning quickness and conditioning drills. There were times Mitchell didn't make it out to watch, but Coach Bobby Petrino says Mitchell made it a point to show up for one particular workout during the offseason. Mitchell was definitely on hand after scoring a SportsCenter Top 10 play with his dunk against Ole Miss. read more >
