Live Game Blog: Arkansas vs. LSU at Baton Rouge, Nov. 25

Live Game Blog: Arkansas vs. LSU at Baton Rouge, Nov. 25
The big game has finally arrived. No. 3 Arkansas vs. No. 1 and undefeated LSU, with who knows what on the line for Arkansas, depending on which national pundit and network you might listen to. For LSU, a win sends the Tigers to next week's SEC Championship Game against Georgia. For Arkansas, even jumping over LSU in the BCS Standings when they are released Sunday night apparently isn't assured, even if the Hogs win today. Report Card: Arkansas 49, Tennessee 7

Report Card: Arkansas 49, Tennessee 7
WHAT WE LEARNED: This team sure does love playing in Fayetteville where the Razorbacks outscored opponents 220-84 this year. Getting two consecutive games at home, plus one in Little Rock, before LSU should have the Razorbacks peaking just in time. It's still hard to know how the season will play out and what bowl destination awaits, but anything from Cotton to Capital One to BCS national championship (farfetched, but still possible) is in play. read more >

Bahn: Don't Let Amazing Plays Distract From Real Jaw-Dropper Of Razorback Victory
Joe Adams being Joe Adams on a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown was barely an hour old when video of it began popping up online. Professional grade or taped off the TV with a cell phone it didn't matter, people wanted to watch it. Not likely to go viral, but vitally important to closing out the game — and potentially the season — strong was the way Arkansas ran the football. For the first time in 2011, the Razorbacks had more rushing yards (254) than passing (245). You have to go back to a 38-31 victory against Mississippi State in 2010 for last time the run game actually outgained the passing attack. read more >

Jim Harris: Razorbacks Make Most Of Their Big Plays, While Bumbling Volunteers Don't
A college head football coach probably dreams that every one of his graduating seniors will step up big on Senior Day, but it's rare that it actually transpires. But it's hard to find one Razorback senior among the 17 on the roster, who were all honored prior to kickoff Saturday, who didn't have a hand in the Hogs' 49-7 rout of Tennessee at Reynolds Razorback Stadium. read more >
