In the early signing period in November, Arkansas signed two players, including 6-foot-0 Melissa Wolff of Cabot. Wolff helped lead Cabot to the Class 7A state championship Saturday in Hot Springs. Wolff scored 22 points and pulled down 15 rebounds while earning MVP honors. read more >

Kevin Kelley's unconventional approach to football is well known to folks inside the state of Arkansas. Cabot, for example, can attest all too well that the Pulaski Academy head coach is willing to try some unusual things. Consider last week's game in which Kelley had his team attempt four, and recover three onside kicks in jumping out to a 29-0 lead with just 8:35 remaining in the first quarter. It was odd enough that Pulaski Academy has received another round of national publicity. read more >

Prep Polls, Week 5: Har-Ber, Conway, Bentonville Still 1-2-3 in 7A, Overall

Springdale Har-Ber had to rally from a halftime deficit to put away its city rival last Friday, while Bentonville barely escaped neighbor Fayetteville in overtime. Only 7A-Central Conway of the "big three" had a surprisingly easy time of it Friday, crushing perennial title contender Cabot 41-7.
