Arkansas heads into the SEC Baseball Tournament with some momentum. Thanks to a three-game sweep at Tennessee the Razorbacks enter with four consecutive victories and the No. 6 overall seed. They'll begin the tournament ranked No. 25 by Baseball America, a week after dropping out of the poll. Arkansas Finishes Series Sweep Of Vols With 8-2 Victory

Arkansas broke a 2-2 deadlock with six runs over the final three innings as the Razorbacks completed a three-game sweep of Tennessee with an 8-2 victory on Saturday afternoon at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. With the win, Arkansas finishes the regular season with a 39-17 overall record and a 16-14 SEC record. Tennessee finishes its season with a 24-31 overall record and an 8-22 conference mark. read more >

Jim Harris: Reynolds Refuses To Lose, Needs Other Razorbacks To Join Him
Baseball fans in central Arkansas weren't simply treated to the once-a-year Arkansas Razorback appearance Tuesday night. What they saw was a microcosm of the Hogs' season of recent weeks, all rolled into 10 innings. This one, the Razorbacks won 6-5. A good many of the 10,512 fans who paid to see it were still around when junior third baseman Matt Reynolds singled sharply past the lunging Louisiana Tech second baseman, advanced on walk to Brian Anderson, stole third on his own and came home when the catcher's ill-advised throw to third bounced into left field. It completed a mostly marvelous night for Reynolds, who homered, doubled, singled twice and walked — and struck out with one out and the bases loaded in the second inning. read more >
