Hot pink and orange spray paint recently appeared on the south side of Reynolds Razorback Stadium to mark utilities. Foot and vehicle traffic in the area, usually at its peak during football season, has noticeably increased, a rarity after the spring semester ends. Site work has just begun, but nothing is being built yet. Razorback Football Operations Center Progress Becoming More Apparent
Arkansas administrators have talked about the possibility of a football operations center since 2009. So are they ever going to get going on the thing? Technically, construction began this week on the south side of Reynolds Razorback Stadium. A fence is up. Backhoes are out and crews are doing site work, which primarily involves location/relocation of utilities, in preparation for the significant construction. read more >

UA Board Grants Initial OK For Football Center Bond Issue
The University of Arkansas Board of Trustees on Friday approved an intent to issue bonds for a $35 million football operations center on the Fayetteville campus. The board met on the campus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Friday's approval paved the way for the UA Athletic Department to seek final, formal approval for the bond issue at the April board meeting. read more >

Arkansas Seeking Board of Trustees Approval for Football Facility Funding
Arkansas athletic department officials are asking the Board of Trustees for approval to issue up to $25 million in bonds to fund a new football operations center. The board will meet on Friday in Little Rock. Securing funding is a key step for the department to begin construction on the 80,000-square-foot facility estimated to cost between $24-35 million. read more >
