Garrick McGee Praises Arkansas Leadership In 'Unfortunate' Petrino Situation
Garrick McGee has strong ties to Arkansas Coach Bobby Petrino. They've known each other since McGee was a freshman quarterback and Petrino his position coach at Arizona State. McGee spent four seasons on Petrino's Razorback staff before leaving for the head coaching position at Alabama-Birmingham. So McGee also feels a connection with the state of Arkansas. Which is what makes seeing the current situation — Petrino on administrative leave following a motorcycle accident on April 1 that included a female member of the football staff — difficult for McGee to process. McGee told Birmingham media it is difficult to watch as his friend and former program are impacted by Petrino's misstep. read more >

Broken Arrow (Okla.) cornerback Cre Moore didn't leave a recent Junior Day visit with an Arkansas offer. But he did leave with a good impression of the campus and program. Moore (6-0, 173 pounds) attended a Junior Day at Arkansas on March 3. Moore and three of his teammates took in all the things Arkansas has to offer during the visit and Moore said they left impressed. read more >
