The SEC went 10-2 as a league in Week One, but the ignominy of Ole Miss losing to FCS-level Jacksonville State didn't do the league any favors. LSU barely survived short-handed North Carolina. South Carolina and Georgia may have been most impressive last week against inept competition and face off this Saturday in Columbia, while Auburn faces one of its few road tests of the season at Starkville on Thursday. Alabama carries the league banner at home against Penn State.

Former UA Coach Jack Crowe Gets Redemption 18 Years After Citadel Loss
Remember Sept. 5, 1992, Arkansas fans? Remember how awful that 10-3 loss to The Citadel felt? Jack Crowe does. Crowe was the Arkansas coach 18 years ago today when the Razorbacks lost to a I-AA team. He resigned the very next day.
