Little Rock's Jermain Taylor Ready To 'Just Go Crazy' On Caleb Truax

Jermain Taylor's comeback road next winds through Biloxi, Miss., where he headlines a Showtime-televised main event Friday night. At 10 p.m., Taylor (29-4-1, 18 KOs) fights Caleb Truax (18-0-1, 10 KOs). While Truax hasn't lost a match as a pro, he also hasn't met an opponent of this caliber before. This is one reason Taylor appears so confident in excerpts from a Friday interview with KABZ-FM 103.7 The Buzz. Another reason: Taylor has gotten into top-notch shape, and says he runs a mile in less than six minutes. So, yes, it appears Taylor is once again lean. ESPN: Jermain Taylor Planning Boxing Comeback

Jermain Taylor is attempting a comeback. ESPN.com reports Taylor has reunited with trainer Pat Burns and plans to fight in the 160-pound weight class where he had his most success. Burns was in Taylor's camp when Taylor was a world champion. read more >
