D'Andre Williams scored 21 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists in helping Arkansas-Little Rock defeat Louisiana-Monroe 70-66 Saturday night. UALR (11-13, 8-2 Sun Belt) built a game-high 11-point lead with 5:34 remaining, but Louisiana-Monroe (2-22, 1-10) clawed to within 68-66 on a 3-pointer by Fred Brown with five seconds left. Senior Courtney Jackson scored a career-high 20 points on Thursday night to lead the UALR men's basketball team to a 72-51 victory over ULM at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The Trojans, 7-11 overall, shot 50 percent from the field in the win to move to 4-0 in Sun Belt Conference play for the first time since the 2001-02 season. read more >

Arkansas has yet to determine which of its 2012 home football games will be played in what venue. A decision is on hold until the Razorbacks find a 12th opponent and complete their schedule. Athletic Director Jeff Long did not rule out the possibility of LSU moving from Little Rock to Fayetteville when discussing next year's schedule. Long said he wants to wait until that time to decide between War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock or Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville. read more >

The Arkansas Razorbacks will play its first SEC night game of the season on Saturday against Auburn in a match-up that will be televised on ESPN. The only other Arkansas school to be featured on television will be UA-Monticello's visit to Delta State on Comcast and Cox. read more >
