Arkansas defensive ends coach Steve Caldwell spent 14 seasons at Tennessee and knows Phil Fulmer well. But Caldwell isn't saying much about any interest his former boss might have in the Razorback head coaching opening. Caldwell wouldn't say if he and Fulmer had discussed the job, which became available when Bobby Petrino was fired last week. Thanking assistant coaches is a pretty routine part of national signing day. Head coaches across the country routinely give their staffs credit for a year's recruiting haul. It's hard to imagine Bobby Petrino ever being more grateful for the assistants than he is this year. Arkansas endured coaching turnover unlike any other year in his tenure.
