Oh, what might have been for Arkansas. Take away dropped touchdown passes from normally sure-handed Cobi Hamilton and Ronnie Wing Jr.; correct the aim on a couple of Zach Hocker field goals; erase the interception Tyler Wilson threw while trying to avoid a sack and just think about the outcome. Of course it’s not like the nation’s No. 7 team didn’t look impressive even with those miscues. Eliminate those mistakes and what would have been was a performance more dominating than an already impressive 44-28 victory against No. 9 South Carolina on Saturday. read more >

3-And-Out: South Carolina Remembers 2010 Loss, Robinson Sees No Major Changes To Gamecocks Offense

South Carolina’s 41-20 loss to Arkansas last year was apparently equal parts frustrating and inspiring for the Gamecocks. Coach Steve Spurrier said his team took two days to review film of the Razorbacks after the home loss in 2010. He wanted his team to see how Arkansas controlled the line of scrimmage and made big plays. read more >

Jim Harris' SEC Notebook: Power Poll Week 10; Gamecocks Feast On Turnovers; Bama And LSU Collide

South Carolina already has reaped as many turnovers through eight games — an amazing 26 takeaways (10 fumbles, 16 interceptions) — as the Gamecocks collected through all 14 games in 2010, when they won the Southeastern Conference East Division. Contrast that with this week's opponent, the 7-1 Arkansas Razorbacks, which have forced just 11 turnovers (8 interceptions, 3 fumbles). With an offense than was suspect even when Stephen Garcia was the quarterback and Marcus Lattimore was healthy, the defense has been South Carolina's saving grace in a 7-1 start. read more >
