The three minutes U.S. Reed had to speak at his recent Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony didn't allow him to wow the crowd with the great, untold or long-forgotten stories he shared for 45 minutes with the Downtown Tip Off Club on Monday. He talked about long-gone days when every kid in Arkansas and many within the region wanted to be a Razorback, and he reflected on the shot against Louisville that no Hog fan will ever forget. read more >

Guest Blog: Hall of Fame Night Shines on State's Treasures
I am constantly reminded that Arkansas is the Natural State. Spending time outdoors in places like Petit Jean and the Buffalo River is perfect proof that this slogan is well justified for our small state. Friday night I learned that you could be reminded of the extreme value of our resources from an indoor venue. I attended the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame Banquet. It was easy to want to attend because the 1994 Razorback Basketball team was being inducted, and my wife and I attended every home game as students in Fayetteville that memorable year. read more >

Arkansas Sports Hall Of Fame To Induct 1994 Razorback 'Family', Others Tonight At Verizon Arena

Nolan Richardson has often described his teams as being a family. It's a description he's used frequently in the past and again in a recent radio interview. So it seems very appropriate that Richardson's 1994 NCAA title team — the entire team — is being inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame. Members of the squad that went 31-3 with a 76-72 championship victory against Duke are among this year's class of honorees. read more >

Sports Hall Of Fame To Recognize Razorbacks 1994 National Title Team

There have been plenty of recognitions of the 1994 national championship basketball team at Arkansas and the individuals who played for the Razorbacks. Add another to the list as all members of the team will be inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame for 2012. read more >

Harris: Clarke's Transfer May Be Most Disappointing Ever for Razorback Basketball

We should have known all wouldn't ever be rosy with Rotnei Clarke's career at Arkansas when, after the kid pledged to be a Razorback in the fall of 2007, his dad quit his job at Oral Roberts University and moved the family to Northwest Arkansas. In an era in which we see Little League parents following their progeny all the way into the NBA, this spelled trouble. We can only imagine what the former coaching staff dealt with, having Conley Clarke up the road calling the shots for his kid.
