Neither Wildcats Coach Bill Snyder nor Arkansas Coach Bobby Petrino has paid attention to other games in the postseason. That's what both acknowledged when visiting with the media on Wednesday. However, both understand the importance of kickers and special teams. WHAT WE LEARNED: There's Alabama and LSU and everybody else. Arkansas might be No. 1 out of everybody else, but isn't close to the level of its SEC West brethren. It is time to begin checking travel options for the Capital One Bowl (Jan. 2, Orlando) and Cotton Bowl (Jan. 6, Dallas). BCS bowl and title talk will have to wait another year. read more >

Garrett Uekman was honored with a candlelight vigil and memorial service Monday night in Fayetteville. Speakers included Chancellor David Gearhart, teammate Austin Tate and Coach Bobby Petrino. WHAT WE LEARNED: This team sure does love playing in Fayetteville where the Razorbacks outscored opponents 220-84 this year. Getting two consecutive games at home, plus one in Little Rock, before LSU should have the Razorbacks peaking just in time. It's still hard to know how the season will play out and what bowl destination awaits, but anything from Cotton to Capital One to BCS national championship (farfetched, but still possible) is in play. read more >
